SU steps up efforts to improve Carrier Dome experience

SYRACUSE (AP) — Syracuse University is stepping up its efforts to improve the fan experience for home football games.

Among game day enhancements announced Wednesday are discounts on concessions, transportation options to make it easier to get to and from the Carrier Dome, and entertainment.

Pregame concessions discounts amount to 50 percent and are for all fans beginning when gates open until 30 minutes before kickoff. Alcoholic beverages are not included.

Pregame entertainment on the Quad will start three hours before the opening kickoff.

Syracuse director of athletics John Wildhack says the enhancements are in response to feedback from fans. Wildhack says one of the goals is to attract more students and get them in their seats early because they make a difference.
