WHITESBORO — The 45th annual Project Student Introduction to Engineering & Science (SITES) was held at Harts Hill Inn in March. The event was sponsored by the Mohawk Valley Engineering & Executive Council (MVEEC), Griffiss Institute, Armed Forces Communications & Electronics (AFCEA), Association of Old Crows (AOC), the ELFUNS of Utica/Rome and the MVCC STEP Team.
The following companies/agencies sent mentors and assisted students for the afternoon session to visit companies and agencies: The Air Force Research Laboratory, state Department of Transportation, Solid Waste Authority, Nelson Associates, Clinton Pet Vets, Riverhawk Company, Technology Service Corp. and Critical Technology Co. were contributors.
The main speakers were David and Alesia Albright from River Hawk. The event was coordinated by Mike Joseph, Critical Technology and Bill Rudge (MVEEC). Staff members were Paul Frey, Jim Maier, Ken Andela, Renee Cammarere, E. Paul Ratazzi, Jeff Dematteis, Ric Lockridge and Manny Sabillon.
