SYRACUSE — New York State Comptroller Tom DiNapoli has announced his endorsement of Francis Conole in New York’s 22nd Congressional District.

Conole will face Republican nominee Brandon Williams in the 22nd District in the Tuesday, Nov. 8, general election. The candidates are seeking to replace retiring Congressman John Katko.

“Fran has dedicated his life to our country’s service. Throughout his career, he has always led with conviction and stood up for what’s right. I know he will be a strong advocate for us in Congress and fight for the families of Central New York,” the New York State comptroller added.

“I am honored to have the support of Comptroller DiNapoli in our race for NY-22,” Conole said.

“Comptroller DiNapoli has been a champion for our working families, ensuring that our state budget reflects our needs and our values,” Conole said, adding “We launched this campaign over a year ago with one simple mission, that right now when our families and region face real challenges, we need serious leadership to meet the moment.”
