TOWN OF MARCY — Spring registration for classes offered by the Mohawk Valley Institute for Learning in Retirement begins Wednesday, March 18.
MVILR, a lifelong learning program, has been offering non-credit classes on the SUNY Polytechnic Institute campus in Marcy for the past 23 years.
Classes are taught by volunteer facilitators who have a passion for a particular subject. There are no tests and no pressure.
Classes are held during the day Monday through Friday, so there’s no night driving. MVILR offers classes in art, literature, music, computer science, financial and legal science and health and wellness, among others.
The spring class catalog can be viewed online at sunypoly.edu/MVILR, or call the MVILR office at 315-792-7292 for more information about membership fees and classes.
