Adult Cornhole League begins Jan. 23
ROME — The Rome YMCA is forming a cornhole league for adults.
The popular lawn game is moving indoors at the Rome branch of the YMCA of the Greater Tri-Valley, according to a news release. Adult (ages 18 years and older), co-ed leagues are being formed. Play is set to begin at 6:30 p.m. Monday, Jan. 23.
The Rome YMCA is located at 301 W Bloomfield St, Rome.
The league is open to YMCA members and non-members. Registration fees are $20 for members and $30 for non-members. Those interested in participating can register at www.ymcatrivalley.org.
The six-week league consists of teams of two to three players with playoffs in the sixth week, according to a release from organization.
The winning team will receive a $100 gift card.
