Soul-full Moms Reconnection Event Saturday in Utica
UTICA — Brooke Sann Coaching will host the Soul-full Moms Reconnection Event, a first ever workshop designed for moms who are feeling the burden and stress of their daily challenges, from 7-10 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 4, at Brique Studio, 3rd floor, 106 Genesee St.
The Soul-full Moms Reconnection Event is tailored to women and mothers throughout the area who struggle feeling drained, unhappy, and hopeless in the dead of winter, and throughout the year.
The purpose of this event is for women to utilize the time and space to reprioritize themselves. Throughout this time and through insightful activities, they will reconnect with themselves and focus their life on their values, desires and truths.
Sann has experience and strong insight on coaching women and has seen how common sources of stress and unaddressed needs in their lives can lead to misery and unhappiness. She believes that women find themselves unhappy because they spend their time trying to fill the needs of their husband, parents, and children, leaving themselves raw, untouched and unfulfilled.
A concept Sann references and explores often is soul-atrophy. Soul-atrophy occurs when an individual does not spend ample time on the things that make their soul “sing.” Instead, they focus elsewhere and their gifts, talents, and values are ignored causing an unhappy, depleted and empty state known as soul-atrophy.
The antidote to soul-atrophy is soul-development. A compelling concept of taking time to prioritize one’s needs and to focus on what is unique to us as individuals and to foster and grow those characteristics. By doing so, Sann believes that daily life can have a meaningful connection to one’s soul, which invites the energy and joy of leading a life full of purpose, meaning and love.
The evening agenda has been planned to provide experiences which allow women to not only gather and network, but to walk away feeling connected to themselves, their desires and values and to their life. She has organized reputable women-owned businesses in the area to provide opportunities for attendees to meditate, work, plan, dream, and of course shop and eat.
Sann, herself is a mother of three boys, a long-time lover of people, connection, the community and self help. As a young mom attempting to balance work, home, and family, she found herself unhappy and unfulfilled. “Although I had everything I ever wanted and dreamed of, I was just miserable down to my core,” Sann said.
Having those same experiences so many women and moms go through is what prompted her to pursue work in Life Coaching. Sann was able to begin learning life changing concepts through training from The Life Coach School. Soon Sann found herself engaged with life coaches throughout the world, benefiting from their methods, and knew she needed to become a certified professional to help women in her community.
This event has been in the making for years, and Sann said she’s excited to watch the manifestations she invested in for so long take place. If you are interested in this event, you can follow her on social media platforms such as Facebook and Instagram, or visit: www.Brookesann.com.
