ROME — The Zeta Master Chapter of the Beta Sigma Phi Sorority met recently at the Hampton Inn, 1352 Floyd Ave. with President Patricia Denton presiding.

The chapter approved a donation to the Rome Twig’s Tree of Lights program to benefit Rome Health in memory of deceased members of the Zeta Master Chapter of Beta Sigma Phi as well as deceased family members of chapter members. The chapter also approved donations to the Dollars for Scholars program; Lucy’s House, and the Salvation Army for Christmas. In addition to the donations, Annette Schoolcraft presented a program on the history of Thanksgiving.
