I have an opinion, unfortunately, not a good one.
Next door to my house at 416 Matthew St., Rome, is a house at 414 Matthew St. No one is supposed to be living there. The lights in the house are lit.
There’s a broken window on the back side of the house, and I see two of the cats that used to live there, with a family, jumping in.
The family moved out, and I called the SPCA in Syracuse. They came here, and did not take the cats. I have called many places, including Rome police and no one seems to care. One cat has a frozen tail. Yes, we are feeding them. This is a cry for help.
