Snow Ridge Ski Resort kicks off 2022 season

TURIN — Snow Ridge Ski Resort, 4173 West Road, is taking advantage of the recent influx of snow.

“Finally! A decent lake effect storm rolled through on Monday, giving us 10 inches of fresh snow on top of the thin natural base we previously had,” a resort press release noted. “It may not be the two feet we were hoping for, but we’re dropping ropes and going to have some fun! Remember that conditions are thin anywhere besides South and Bunny Bowl, but are certainly sufficient enough for a good time.”

Hours are: Wednesdays from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.; Thursdays and Fridays from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., with night skiing 4 to 9 p.m.; and Saturday and Sunday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Snow Ridge will also be open from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday, Jan. 17, in honor of Martin Luther King Day.

Lessons are available.
