Andria Heath, executive director of the Utica Zoo, unveiled a new ZooMobile during a press conference at the popular local attraction on Monday, Jan. 9. The second ZooMobile was added thanks to a donation by Nimey’s New Generation Cars. Nimey’s recently presented the vehicle to the Utica Zoo, a 2015 Nissan transport van and the vehicle wrap, designed by McGrogan Design and installed by Valley Signs. The new ZooMobile will be used to offer additional programs, presentations, Heath said. It comes with more space and will also be used to help transport smaller animals when needed in and out of the zoo.
