SNAPSHOT: Whitestown to play Harpursville Saturday at DeLutis
DISTRICT CHAMPS — The Whitestown Post American Legion baseball team holds up the District V championship banner it won Tuesday in a 1-0 win in eight innings over Smith Post of Rome at DeLutis Field in Rome. The team (20-2) will host District VI champion Harpursville (11-4) at 2 p.m. Saturday at DeLutis. The winner advances to the four-team state tournament that runs Tuesday through Thursday in Saugerties.
