SNAPSHOT: Running for governor, Harry Wilson makes campaign stop in Oneida

Posted

ONEIDA — On Saturday, May 21, Harry Wilson —  a Republican candidate for Governor of New York — appeared at a Meet and Greet event at HIPstir Café in Oneida.

Among those who met with Wilson was Verona Town Councilman Fritz Scherz.

“I was impressed with the way Harry connected with the folks who attended his meet/greet at HIPstir Café,” said Scherz, in a statement. “Rather than give a canned speech which would’ve been much easier, Harry went person to person and answered all the questions he was asked. Harry met with folks ranging from small business owners to law enforcement to an Oneida County Legislator (Cindy Rogers-Witt) and explained his plan and goals for NY.”
