ROME’S NEW LADDER TRUCK — The Rome Fire Department welcomed a new 100-foot ladder truck on Monday, which will replace a 16-year-old tower truck on the frontline. The 2022 Sutphen-brand truck will undergo a week of training with firefighters before being put into service at the Central Fire Station on Black River Boulevard.
