SNAPSHOT: Pride Day honored at the state fair

GEDDES — Friday, August 26 is Pride Day at the NYS Fair, one of several specially designated days throughout the fair's duration. According to state fair information, the annual event includes a morning flag-raising ceremony at the main gate, and a 6 p.m. parade.
Other 6 p.m. parades are scheduled for the following special fair days:
- Law Enforcement Day - Monday, August 29
- Fire & Rescue Day / Beef Day - Tuesday, August 30
- Armed Forces Day / Dairy Day - Thursday, September 1
- A Labor Day parade will commence at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, September 5.
