The Oriska Valley Seniors met on Thursday, Jan. 5, at the American Legion in Oriskany Falls. The speaker was Mike Silliman, a member of the Mohican Model A Ford Club, who talked about his collection of model cars and die-cast banks with a display of cars. The presentation included a discussion of the early years, 1898-1931, that Henry Ford manufactured cars. In 1924, he produced his 10 millionth Model T. In 1927, he manufactured his last Model T. In 1928, production started on Model A’s which ended in 1931 when he manufactured his 5 millionth Model A. From left: Howard Henty; Mike Silliman, and Eric Howard.
