SNAPSHOT: Friesen, Janczuk shine at U-R Speedway
NEW YORKER CHAMP — NASCAR Camping World Truck Series playoff contender Stewart Friesen, from Sprakers, gets a hug from his son Parker after winning the New Yorker 50 on Sunday night at Utica-Rome Speedway. Friesen led every lap of the Short Track Super Series feature to collect $25,000.

SPORTSMAN WIN — Durhamville’s Matt Janczuk won the 25-lap sportsman New Yorker feature Sunday night and it was his 12th feature win of the season at Utica-Rome Speedway.

NASCAR Camping World Truck Series playoff contender Stewart Friesen from Sprakers does a burn out in the infield grass after winning the New Yorker 50 on Sunday night at Utica-Rome Speedway. Friesen led every lap of the Short Track Super Series feature to collect $25,000.

Durhamville's Matt Janczuk, in the no. 33xm uses the high side of turn four to pass Dave Richer on his way to winning the 25-lap sportsman New Yorker feature Sunday night and in doing so Jancauk won his 12th feature race at Utica-Rome Speedway in 2022.
