On Sunday, more than 100 people gathered and recreated a historic walk through Madison County that black and white abolitionists did in 1835.

They traveled from Canastota to Peterboro as part of the National Abolition Hall of Fame and Museum's Abolitionist Freedom Walk.

It was lead by Felisha Legget-Jack, the newly named Syracuse University women’s basketball head coach.
