JOHNSTOWN — Assemblyman Robert Smullen, R-118, Meco, attended the Gloversville Little Huskies Charity Golf Event at Fox Run Golf Course in Johnstown recently to show his support for their football program and community efforts. 

Little Huskies Football and Cheerleading introduces children, ages 5 to 12, to the fundamentals of the game of football and cheerleading, accelerates athletes to middle and high school sports, introduces teamwork and produces successful athletes that value commitment.

“Youth sports teach our young people the valuable lessons of teamwork, dedication and supporting one another in pursuit of a common goal,” Smullen said in a statement. “I am so proud of our Youth Football and Cheerleading program and congratulate the athletes, their parents and our sponsors for investing in local youth sports and the future of athletics in our community.”
