Rome Health will host a smoking cessation program that kicks off Thursday, Nov. 18.
The series of three classes will provide smokers with resources to help them achieve their goal to become tobacco free to enhance their health and well-being.
The series kicks off in conjunction with the Great American Smokeout, when thousands of people across the country start their journey toward a smoke-free life. Quitting smoking isn’t easy. This will be an opportunity to make a plan and get the support needed.
The series will be held 5-6:30 p.m. in the Dorothy G. Griffin Cardiovascular Center on the ground floor of Rome Health Thursdays, Nov. 18, Dec. 2 and Dec. 9. The center is easily accessible from the parking lot off of Oak Street.
