ROME — The Rome American Legion, Henry P. Smith Post #24, at 325 Erie Blvd. W., will host a chicken barbecue takeout fundraiser on Saturday, Feb. 4, starting at noon and going on until meals are gone.

A meal, which includes a half-chicken, salt potatoes, cowboy beans, and dinner roll, will cost $12. All are welcome to attend, according to the announcement from event organizers.
