Training sessions to assist current potential or current business owners are being offered by the Mohawk Valley Small Business Development Center (MVSBDC).
Among the free events, which are open to the public:
• A “Ten Tips for Building High-Functioning Virtual Teams” webinar will be presented May 9 from 2-3 p.m. by Jennifer Adeli from WinBiz Proposals.

• A “Business Financials Workshop,” co-sponsored by MVSBDC and Partnership for Community Development of Hamilton, will be May 10 from 4:30-6 p.m. at the Entrepreneurship Center, 20 Utica St., Hamilton.
The workshop is geared for persons who would like a better understanding of what the statements mean and how to utilize them to make more effective business decisions, the center added.
