Oneida County reported six new cases of COVID-19 on Wednesday, for 73 known active positive cases.
The county’s 123rd COVID-related death was also reported.
Three patients were hospitalized with COVID as of Wednesday afternoon, all in the Mohawk Valley Health System.
In addition to the people isolated in the 73active cases, 669 are in mandatory precautionary quarantine because of contacts with people who have had positive tests.
Regionally, the Mohawk Valley’s daily rate of tests that are positive averaged over the previous seven days stood at 0.6%, the seven-day average of new cases each day per 100,000 people was at 3, and hospitalizations per 100,000 was 0.21 daily.
Oneida County health authorities reported the following incidents of possible public exposure and recommended that anyone at these locations at these times monitor themselves for COVID symptoms:
