Hamilton College freshman Peyton Sichol has been selected for the 2022-23 Women's Golf Coaches Association Division III All-America and All-Region teams.
Sichol was one of a dozen golfers placed on the all-America honorable mention team. She's the first Hamilton women's golfer on the all-America squad. She also was one of the 12 golfers on the all-region team in Region 1/East Region.
Sichol's first season with the Continentals was one to remember. She was one of six individuals chosen to play in the 2023 NCAA Division III Women's Golf Championship at Mission Inn Resort & Club in Florida from May 9 to May 11 after Sichol finished the regular season ranked 27th nationally.
Sichol's 18-hole stroke average was a team-best 77.78 for 18 rounds going into the NCAA championship. She was the individual medalist at the 2022 Middlebury College George Phinney Classic, tied for fifth place at the 2022 Hamilton Fall Invitational, tied for sixth place at the 2023 Amherst College Jack Leaman Invitational and tied for 10th place at the 2022 Williams College Championship.
Sichol also finished 10th out of 94 golfers at the Division III Fall Preview at Mission Inn Resort & Club's El Campeon Golf Course back in September 2022. The tournament field featured nine ranked teams as Sichol carded rounds of 77 and 74 for a 36-hole total of 151.
