ROME — A 41-year-old man is accused of shoplifting groceries from Aldi on South Madison Street, according to the Rome Police Department.
Police said Jarrott E. Connelly, of Rome, stole $25 worth of various grocery items from Aldi around 12:17 p.m. Oct. 17. Police said Connelly left the store without paying and refused an employee's demand to return the items.
Connelly was taken into custody on Friday on one count of petty larceny, police said. He is scheduled to appear in Rome City Court.
