Sherrill mayor Vineall appointed to NYCOM


SHERRILL — Mayor William Vineall of the City of Sherrill has been appointed to the eight-member Nominating Committee of the New York State Conference of Mayors (NYCOM). NYCOM President Gary McCarthy, Mayor of the City of Schenectady, made the selection.

The Nominating Committee is responsible for determining the slate of officers to be elected on May 6 at NYCOM’s 110th Annual Meeting in Cooperstown. The Conference of Mayors represents 575 cities and villages in New York State, ranging from the smallest village to the City of New York. NYCOM has been in existence since 1910.
