SHERRILL — The Sherrill Garden Club Plant and Bake Sale will take place from 9 a.m. to noon on Saturday, May 20, at the Community Activity Center, 139 E. Hamilton St.

The event will feature an abundance of perennials dug from the gardens of members, including day lilies, hostas, irises, Solomon’s seal, lily of the valley, and other species. Annual flowers, tomato and pepper plants, and herbs will be available as well as houseplants. Members will provide expert planting instructions.

There will also be home baked pies, cookies and small breads for sale.
