A fugitive on the Sheriff’s Office’s 2019 10 Most Wanted List was taken into custody in Utica on Thursday, according to law enforcement officials. Sheriff’s deputies said Ruvim Mikhalevich, 28, of Utica, has been wanted on a charge of third-degree mischief since April 2017.
Crime Stoppers recently received a tip that Mikhalevich had moved back to Utica and authorities said he was located and taken into custody on Thursday.
He was arraigned in County Court and was released on his own recognizance, the law enforcers said.
He is scheduled to reappear in court, officials said.
