A Utica man is accused of sexually groping a teenage girl in the city, according to the county Child Advocacy Center.
Investigators said Jesse Marshall, 30, subjected a 16-year-old girl to unwanted groping in Utica on May 14. The authorities were notified and warrants were issued for Marshall. Authorities said he was picked up in the Buffalo area on June 2.
Marshall is charged with one count each of third-degree sexual abuse, second-degree harassment and endangering the welfare of a child, along with a violation of the sex offender registry, authorities said. He was returned to Oneida County on June 3 and arraigned in court. Marshall was sent to county jail without bail.
He is scheduled to reappear in court.
