Seniors for Senior: Finding forever homes for senior cats

Meet the Southern Bell of CPV Rescue & Sanctuary, Delores.

She came to the sanctuary back in January when her owner moved into a nursing home. She is 14-years-old, loving, and is sweet as can be.

Delores loves spending time sitting in an open window, breathing in the fresh air, and soaking up some sunshine. She also enjoys sitting on your lap and being pampered with a gentle brushing.

Although Delores is content here at the sanctuary, she does not enjoy the rambunctious babies running around. She would much rather relax in a quiet and calm home of her own.

She is a healthy girl, but does have a thyroid condition that requires daily medication. But she is more than happy to eat them up in some yummy canned food.

If you are looking for a laid back lap cat, well look no further. Stop and meet Delores and all her friends during our business hours, Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m., or Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday from 9:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. We are located at 86 Meadow St. in Clinton.

Love cats but unable to adopt right now? The rescue is in need of some volunteers. If interested, please stop by the rescue to learn about our volunteer opportunities. Or give us a call at 315-381-3605.
