Weather-related concerns Tuesday around Central New York forced the change to planned athletic events and after-school activities for schools in the area.

Most notably, the Section III boys wrestling dual meet championship that was scheduled to begin Tuesday at three sites including Central Valley Academy has been pushed back a day.

And, the Rome Free Academy boys hockey team's ninth annual Face Off Against Colon Cancer benefit game against Ontario Bay at Kennedy Arena has been postponed Tuesday. RFA coach Jason Nowicki said he was working on a possible makeup date for the game Tuesday afternoon.

For the wrestling dual meet, organizers said both original brackets from Division 2 are now scheduled to begin at 5 p.m. Wednesday at Central Valley Academy. Participants will wrestle through the semifinals with the winners advancing to the championship Thursday at Cicero-North Syracuse, according to a news release.

Participants in Division 1 will wrestle their bracket beginning at 5 p.m. Thursday at C-NS.

Championship matches for both Division 1 and Division 2 will be held after the completion of the Division 1 semifinals, according to organizers.

Camden announced on its Facebook page that all after-school activities had been postponed.

Adirondack also had two varsity bowling matches postponed, according to the school Schedule Galaxy page.

Utica Notre Dame also had a varsity boys bowling meet against Whitesboro postponed as well as a varsity boys basketball game against Rome Free Academy, according to the school's Schedule Galaxy listings.
