Seats are still available for a free presentation geared for the staff, volunteers and board members of Rome area nonprofit organizations to be held at 2 p.m., Thursday, Sept. 12, in the Dining & Community Hall at MVCC Rome Campus.
The presentation, entitled “Building a Major Gifts Oriented Culture of Philanthropy at Your Organization” will be presented will be Mike Stein, a recognized area fundraising and development professional.
According to Victor Fariello, executive director of the Rome Community Foundation, Stein’s talk will be appropriate for any size organization. “No matter the size of your budget, staff, or board, this program will have valuable information for you,” Fariello said.

The event is a collaborative effort between the Rome Community Foundation and the Community Foundation of Herkimer & Oneida Counties.
