ILION — The monthly meeting of the Oneida Herkimer County Chapter of SCOPE (Shooters Committee on Political Education) will take place at 7 p.m. Monday, May 8, at the Ilion Fish and Game Club, 1276 Barringer Road.

Guest speakers will be:

  • Republican Candidate Caleb Slater in the 48th State Senate District;
  • State Sen. Mark Walczak, R-49, Watertown;
  • Assemblyman Robert Smullen, R-118, Meco; and
  • Assemblyman Brian Miller, R-122, New Hartford.

The meeting is free and open to the public.
