Salvation Army accepting applications for summer drop-in program for children

The Salvation Army, 410 W. Dominick St., is taking applications for its summer drop-in program, the organization has announced.

The program, for elementary school-aged children, runs Monday through Friday from 12:30 to 4:30 p.m., beginning Wednesday, July 5. Lunch is provided.

The Salvation Army is also taking applications for its overnight camp, Long Point Camp, in Penn Yan. There are different camping sessions during July and August.

Transportation to and from camp is provided, though campers can be dropped off as well.
