The Rome Sports Hall of Fame and Museum has received a $1,250 donation from the Stewart’s Shops Holiday Match Program. “We are extremely grateful to the Stewart’s Foundation and their customers for considering our application and donation of the funds so we may bring activities, recognition programs and awards programs to the youth within our area,” said Dave Sbaraglia, executive director of the Rome Sports Hall of Fame and Museum.

Since 1986 Stewart’s Shops have collected and matched donations in their stores from Thanksgiving until Christmas based on the contributions from their customers, and Stewart’s matching those donations to local organizations that apply for funding annually.

Since the program’s inception, the Stewart’s Holiday match program has allocated over $28 million. The success of the program is credited to their generous customers contributions, their shop partners, and to the media who help spread the word throughout Stewart’s many regions.
