TOWN OF MARCY — The Mohawk Valley Chapter Retired Public Employees Association will celebrate its 50th anniversary with an Indoor Picnic Bash to be held from 11 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Thursday, June 13 at the Utica Maennerchor, 5513 Flannigan Road.
Members, guests and prospective new members may come for free.
On the menu will be hotdogs, baked beans, macaroni salad and dessert. Two tickets will be provided to attendees for beverages such as coffee, tea and soda.
Guest speaker will be RPEA President Jack McPadden who will give an overview of the association’s history, accomplishments and future goals.
There will be door prizes, raffles, theme basket raffles and a chance to win one of two $50 lottery trees. Drawings will be held at 1, 2 and 3 p.m.
A box for collected toiletries will be available for collection for Make A Difference Day in October. Items will also be accepted for the Food Pantry Project. Cash donations will also be collected.
