Geraldine Rogers took top honors in the Rome Rotary Club’s 2019 Canalfest photography contest with her work “Humayan’s Bloom.”
Rogers was among 39 entrants to submit works for judging in the annual event for area shutterbugs.
“Congratulations to all the winners and thank you to all 39 entrants to the 2019 photo show,” organizers said in their announcement of the winning contestants.
“It was a wonderful showing, although again we only had a couple of students,” the organizers added.
Daily Sentinel photojournalist John Clifford assisted with the judging. “We really appreciate his interesting eye for photographic image, quality and presentation,” organizers added.
