ONEIDA — Root Shock will electrify the night on Friday, Oct. 26, at the Kallet Civic Center’s Anti-Costume Halloween Party, 159 Main St.

Admission is $5, doors open at 7:30 p.m.

Root Shock formed in 2012 with regional veteran musicians whose love of reggae music flows deep. Their blend of reggae and heavy drum and bass combined with American roots and soul, and a focus on conscious lyrics result in positive dance music.

On the heels of their 2016 debut album and a 2018 5-song EP, Root Shock is hitting the road and bringing their live show to clubs, festivals and concert halls far and wide. The band is concentrating on spreading their uplifting message and vibes to the masses.

Band members include Jessica Brown, vocals and melodica; Bill Eppel, bass guitar; Phil Grajko, guitar and vocals; Jason “Jocko” Randall, guitar, percussion, electronics and vocals; Brian Lauri, keyboards; and Tyre Outerbridge, drums and vocals.
