Rome UMC suspends Food $en$e orders

First United Methodist Church, 400 N. George St., has temporarily suspended their Food $en$e program.

Participants who have placed orders for November can still pick-up their food at the church tomorrow, Nov. 20, from noon-2 p.m. No new orders will be taken.

Those interested in signing up for December packages can do so through the Town of Lee program, and can place orders tomorrow from 1 to 3 p.m. and Thursday, Dec. 3, from 7 to 8 p.m. at the Lake Delta Fire Department, 8508 Elmer Hill Road.

Orders may be picked up at the fire department on Friday, Dec. 18, from 1 to 3 p.m. For more information, call 315-336-0742 or 315-358-4150.

Food $en$e is a discount food program provided by the Central New York Food Bank. Everyone is welcome to participate. There are no income guidelines. The $20.50 per unit cost is payable at the time of registration by cash or food stamps. Multiple units can be purchased.
