A Rome teenager is accused of sexual misconduct with three underage girls in the city.
Dylan Shalna, 17, had inappropriate sexual contact with three young girls, ages 12, 14 and 15, earlier this year, according to Inv. Mark R. Chrysler with the county Child Advocacy Center. The authorities were notified and began investigating in July.
Shalna was taken into custody on Tuesday. Shalna is charged with four counts of sexual misconduct, three counts of endangering the welfare of a child and one count of second-degree sexual abuse, all misdemeanors, authorities stated. He was arraigned in court and was sent to county jail in lieu of bail.
The victims have been offered counseling through the CAC.
