The district is “no longer able to access our previous official Facebook page,” according to the new Facebook site. It said “this is the new official page of the Rome City School District. Please like and share for the most accurate and up-to-date information.”

The previous page recently was locked by Facebook “due to a technical glitch on their end where they cannot verify our location,” district Superintendent Peter C. Blake in his May 10 blog had said the Facebook corporation locked the prior page for location and management verification purposes.
