ROME — A 32-year-old man is accused of breaking his estranged wife's $600 television set, according to the Rome Police Department.
Police said Allen N. Sorrell Jr., of Rome, was involved in a dispute with his estranged wife at her home at Liberty Gardens throughout the morning of May 28. At 1:30 p.m., police said Sorrell broke the woman's $600 TV and then left the apartment.
Sorrell was taken into custody on Friday on one count of third-degree mischief, a class E felony, police stated. He is scheduled to appear in Rome City Court.
