A video will highlight the benefits of having Rome Hospital’s advanced technology, skilled professionals and comprehensive services close to home.
In addition, professionals from throughout the hospital will be on hand to talk about their areas of expertise:
Staff from Rome Medical Practice’s Rome Surgical Specialists will be at the booth on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Learn about the practice’s experienced surgeons and the broad range of procedures offered, giving patients the highest standard of care close to home.
Meet professionals from the Cardiopulmonary and Sleep Disorders Center team on Saturday from 1:30-5 p.m.
Knowledge is power. Learn about Hereditary Cancer Risk Screening on Sunday, 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Designed to help individuals, families and physicians make informed decisions based on personal and family history of cancer, the Hereditary Cancer Risk Screening program at Rome Memorial Hospital is the only genetic screening program in the area. The program is offered to all breast imaging patients at the Women’s Imaging Center.
Rome Hospital has earned national recognition as a NICHE (Nurses Improving Care for Healthsystem Elders) facility. That means developing a culture of care for the unique needs of patients at every stage of life. Talk to professional staff about specialized care on Sunday from 12:30-4 p.m.
Visitors to the hospital’s booth are invited to enter to win a home blood pressure monitor with cuff for clinically-accurate home blood pressure monitoring. Monitoring your blood pressure at home can help with early diagnosis of hypertension and can help you and your doctor make decisions about treatment for high blood pressure.
