Rome Health to host career fair
Rome Health will host a career fair from 1-4 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 26, at the hospital, 1500 N. James St., where applicants can interview for open clinical and non-clinical positions.
“We want to make it easy for people to secure their future and start a new career at Rome Health,” said Human Resources Director Michelle Podeswik.
Candidates who are hired for open positions will have the opportunity to begin the employment process at the fair, including completing paperwork, drug screen and physical. With expedited processing, new hires will be ready to start their careers with employee orientation Monday, Feb. 7.
The hospital has open positions in nursing, respiratory care, long-term care, information technology and other clinical and non-clinical areas. In addition, the hospital has several entry level positions in food service, patient registration, building services and other support areas. According to Podeswik, Rome Health implemented new pay rates and offers sign-on bonuses for eligible positions.
