Rome Family YMCA to host art program for children
ROME — An art program for children ages 6-18 will begin Monday, Feb. 6, at the Rome Family YMCA, 301 W. Bloomfield St.
Two-hour classes, 5-7 p.m. each week, in drawing, charcoal, and painting are offered by Rome’s E-98 Art Studio Gallery located on Rome-Taberg Road.
The four-week program begins Feb. 6 and continues each Monday through Feb. 27. YMCA members pay $10 for the program. The cost for non-members is $15. Register by Feb. 6 at www.ymcatrivalley.org or at the Rome Family Y.
E-98 Art Studio and Gallery provides professional art instruction for beginners to advanced students. Through age-appropriate instruction, they provide each student a technique-based curriculum based on each student artist’s skill level and interest.
For more information, contact Sean Burton at sburton@ymcatrivalley.org or visit the YMCA of the Greater Tri-Valley’s website, www.ymcatrivalley.org.
The YMCA welcomes everyone who wishes to participate, regardless of ability to pay. Financial assistance is available through the YMCA of the Greater Tri-Valley’s Changing Lives Financial Assistance program. The program provides assistance to youths, adults and families based on individual needs and circumstances.
