Rome company among ‘Best Places to Work’


Assured Information Security (AIS) has been named one of Central New York’s (CNY) Best Places to Work for 2021 by BizEventz in collaboration with The Business Journal News Network and Research & Marketing Strategies, Inc.

AIS has received the designation for three consecutive years, officials said, adding that AIS employees received an online survey from RMS earlier this year, requesting feedback on company culture, benefits, leadership and other areas of the organization. The answers provided directly from employees put AIS on this year’s list of CNY Best Places to Work.

“It’s an honor to receive this recognition again for the third year,” said Charles Green, president and CEO at AIS. “This award is evidence of our continued commitment to employees as well as their trust in us, and now more than ever, that means so much. I’m proud to work with a team of brilliant employees who even through a pandemic and turbulent times, stayed committed to our mission and each other. It’s our people that make AIS a great company.”

Headquartered in Rome, New York, AIS’s workforce spans across the United States with 10 office locations and remote employees nationwide.

In 2019, AIS was selected as a Gem of Distinction by Gems Along the Mohawk and the Genesis Group, an award that recognizes businesses in the Mohawk Valley that shape the future of the region. In 2018, AIS placed #101 on Cybersecurity Ventures top 500 list of the world’s hottest and most innovative cybersecurity companies.

An award ceremony for the top winners will be held on Sept. 21 at Timber Banks Golf Club in Baldwinsville.
