Ripa nets hat trick as New Hartford boys lacrosse handles Saratoga


SARATOGA SPRINGS — The New Hartford boys lacrosse team took a road trip Friday and came out with an 11-3 win over Saratoga Springs.

Mateo Ripa led the way with a hat trick for the Spartans.

Dan Friedel had a five-point day, with a pair of goals and three assists for New Hartford. Sawyer Kramer had a goal and assist. Gavin Williams, Evan Dziegel, Cade Moss, James Bisaccia and Logan Banek each scored once as well.

In net for the Spartans, Gabriel Cull stopped six shots to earn the win.

Statistics for Saratoga were not submitted.

New Hartford hosts Holland Patent at 5 p.m. Tuesday in the Tri-Valley League.
