ROME — The New York State School Music Association (NYSSMA) has selected three Rome Free Academy students from thousands who auditioned across the state for the honor of participating in the 2022 Conference All-State Performing Ensembles.

The students representing the Rome City School District are Dakota Morrison and Jacob Cosentino in Mixed Chorus and Gregory “Alex” Brown in Symphonic Band. These students were ranked among the highest in the state and at their festival location.

The NYSSMA conference is Dec. 1-4 in Rochester, concluding with a performance at Kodak Hall at Eastman Theatre.
