RFA JV girls roll past New Hartford


The Rome Free Academy girls junior varsity basketball team defeated New Hartford at home Tuesday night 58-22.

Leading the way for the Black Knights was Imani Pugh with 16 points. Kayleana VanDeusen scored 10 points and had six steals. Caitlin Platis added eight points and had nine rebounds. 

RFA improved to 2-0 on the season.

RFA JV boys cruise to win

The RFA boys JV basketball squad beat New Hartford 62-34 Tuesday on the road.

The Black Knights ran out to a 15-6 first quarter lead and were up 35-13 by halftime.

Damilliyon Spratt had 23 points to lead 1-1 RFA. Uzziah Grimes scored 11 points and Aiden Lynch added 10 points.

RFA is now 1-1.
