RFA grad elected vice president of statewide association

Belangie Perez-Torres, a registered dental hygienist, has been elected to serve as vice president for professional development for the New York Dental Hygienists’ Association. 

Perez-Torres, the daughter of Rev. Alfonso and Maritza Perez of Iglesia Maranatha Rome, graduated from Rome Free Academy in 2001 and started her dental career at a local orthodontic practice after completing the BOCES Dental Assistant program.

She graduated from SUNY Canton’s Dental Hygiene program and practiced at Aspen Dental in 2011. She grew her career and she is currently the director of learning and development for TAG-The Aspen Group.

Perez-Torres is also a member of Central New York Association for Talent Development and was a national speaker for American Dental Hygienists Association on 3D dental imaging.
