REMSEN — Members of the Remsen High School Class of 2022 and the National Honor Society participated in a community fall cleanup project in the village late last month.
The students raked, removed fallen limbs and tidied up the lawns of elderly residents in the community.
The residents were very appreciative of the help while the students realized the importance of lending a helping hand, particularly for those who may have trouble doing the work themselves or may not have the resources to pay to have the work done. Students volunteered to complete their class requirement of 10 hours of community service or National Honor Society community service hours.
